- DDamarisNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined todayThis was our first time at Showroom. We had looked at the menu beforehand and it read like casual dining with a hint of sophistication. The food was amazing. We ordered steak frites (which I opted for mashed potatoes in place of the fries), mushroom risotto with shrimp, and a beet salad. To drink, we ordered an old fashioned and a skinny margarita. Everything was impeccable. The only reason why we didn’t order dessert was because there was no room! We were stuffed. Not only was the food great, but the service was excellent. The hosts and servers alike were all super friendly and made us feel right at home. The restaurant itself was very chic. Similar to the menu, it read sophisticated diner. It’s perfect for a family meal or date night. I would recommend 10/10.More infoShowroomPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Frederick•4.5
- RRobertBaltimore / Maryland •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe didn't get to celebrate Valentine's Day on Friday due to unforeseen circumstances, so we were lucky to get a reservation for Saturday night. After 2 days of hospital food, we really needed an awesome dining experience to bring our spirits up. As always, everything was impeccable. The entire staff ensured our meal was perfect. It was as if they could read our minds how important this night out was. The cocktails were delightful. My wife devoured her scallops and curry. My ribeye was perfection. Each bite brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much, Tasting Room staff, especially your manager who seemed to read me like a book. We had a wonderful time!More infoThe Tasting RoomPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Frederick•4.7

- AAngela TarkentonVIPWashington, D.C. Area •58 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOh my oh my! Wye Oak Tavern is beyond incredible. The setting is spectacular with the former church altar, statuary and organ pipes along with 30 foot high ceilings I’d guess? Josh, Cody and the bar staff craft incredible cocktails and create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. As for the food and service. Impeccable. Period. We had steak tartare, cheese ravioli, an 18 oz gorgeous ribeye with duck fat fries and brussels!…and pear bread pudding for dessert. Stephanie was great fun while never missing a beat during service and Steve and his wine suggestions were close to perfect. By the way their wine list is an incredible value of some stellar wines at good prices and they managed to curate the list without need of 40 pages. Thank you. Everything you need without a bunch of excess to search through. We will be back soon and grateful we live only an hour away. Oh and the Visitation Hotel is lovely and we enjoyed staying the night. Nice to have a great place in walkable Frederick!More infoWye Oak TavernPrice: Expensive• American• Frederick•4.5
- JJeffBaltimore / Maryland •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoDined on Valentines Day-special menu-Both of us enjoyed the Cheese Tray and the Individual Beef Wellingtons. We ended the meal with a Mansion House 1757 cake slice and the chocolate mousse. Chef’s skills in putting together sides, cooking the Wellington’s to a perfect temp, selecting varied cheeses for the tray, and executing the delicious deserts were not unnoticed. He’s up there. We were fortunate enough to speak with him as he took the time to visit each table (this to me displayed confidence in his staff-who also should be commended). A busy evening for the restaurant but nothing failed to impress, they never missed a beat. KUDOS!More infoMansion House 1757Price: Moderate• American• Gettysburg•4.6
