Restaurants near Grand Coteau Historic District

We have eaten here a couple of times, including Thanksgiving Day. Despite being a busy holiday, the wait staff was very attentive and helpful; the food was timely and delicious; the ambiance is wonderful. Many of us had different menu items, and all were great. We enjoyed having our family's Thanksgiving lunch at Cafe Sydnie Mae's. Highly recommend !

Our first experience for Thanksgiving dinner at Ruth’s Chris. Amazing offering of turkey dinner with choice of sides. Pumpkin cheesecake with ice cream for dessert. Lastly, I’ll mention a super nice touch by Ruth’s Chris. They sent us home with a serving of “leftovers” for everyone. We’ll be back! Our server was Michelle. She was very friendly, informative, and super attentive to everyone in our party.

We have stopped by Prejean’s a few times over the years of traveling past Lafayette, and we will be back again. We enjoyed our food, especially the gumbo and etouffe. Our waiter today was very attentive and pleasant. Glad we had time for lunch!

Great location for date night! Everything was delicious--french onion soup and tuna starters, gnocchi, and chocolate cake and lemon curd desserts. Service was attentive, and the wait for food after ordering was not lengthy. Would recommend reservations, especially on a weekend night and looking to sit inside. Highly recommend.

Up to the usual standards. My only small complaint was the refried beans weren’t as creamy as I’ve had at the Government Street location in Baton Rouge. Otherwise, 10/10.
