We are a small, boutique steakhouse that focuses on exceptional food and incredible service in the mountains of East Tennessee and typically cannot seat guests earlier than their reserved time.While we have always discouraged them, our policy towards no shows/same day cancelations MUST be firm.     We had a wonderful experience! We arrived just before 7:30 and easily found parking. The staff were attentive and polite. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the mixed game grill starter, I highly recommend it! It was our first time here and also my first time trying emu and bison, they were so good. We ordered the emu fan fillet as our entrees and it was incredible. The cocktails were delicious, as was the dessert. We can’t wait to return to The Gamekeeper!

    We found Vivian‘s table on a whim! Originally we were going to be out of town for Valentine’s Day, but due to some unforeseen events, we stayed around the area. I jumped online to see what was available in our area and found this restaurant on open table.com. They were offering a Valentine’s Day dinner special and the evening turned out to be outstanding! The food and service were both excellent. Krista was a wonderful server. We will definitely be back again!
