- CChadVancouver / British Columbia •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWent for the Valentine's Day menu. Had high expectations going in and the food and service exceeded our expectations. The food was sublime. My favourite dish was a Hokkaido scallop cooked perfectly with a beautiful sauce and sorbet and sweetness from julienned green apple with a dollop of caviar. Every bit was beautiful. Wanted to lick the plate it was so good. The next course was a soft egg with creamy polenta, black truffles, and a beautifully thin slide of crunchy sourdough that looked like a lace cover. Just beautiful and delicious. Then a steamed seabass which was cooked to perfection sitting in leche de tigre sauce with a salsa that gave it just the perfect amount of heat. The dish was served skin side up which made for a beautiful presentation. The last savoury course was an Australian wagyu zabuton cut. It was served with a beautifully roasted sunchoke and a wonderful bordelaise sauce. Great flavour with a little bit of chew if you like that. Then they served a sweet drink with a bit of a "spark" which was fun and then the dessert which was yummy but very rich and the only part of the meal which I felt could have been maybe lighter? The dessert was lovely but I could not finish it because it was so rich. Chocolate on chocolate on chocolate. Altogether an amazing meal. The service was excellent and everyone from entry to exit was very friendly and welcoming. Thanks for making our Valentine's dinner such a memorable evening!More infoBotanistPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Coal Harbour•4.8
- EElishaVancouver / British Columbia •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFirst time coming here. Wonderful service. Ambience is perfect. My husband and I totally loved their brussel sprouts(the char is perfect and the sauce is sublime) and beef tartare (love the cracker underneath the tartare and the flavouring with the egg yolk is amazing). 10/10 King salmon for one of the entrees is also perfect. The fish texture is wonderful, just cooked right. The sauce is the showstopper basically elevating the dish. 10/10 Mushroom risotto- we loved the taste but the consistency is not what we expected from a risotto. Otherwise, flavour is on point. 8/10 Roasted pork belly- my husband rates it at 7/10. He loved the pork belly itself but didn’t feel the puree properly complemented the meat. I would also rate it at 7/10 but mostly because i thought it would be crispier or at least have crispy edges but i do love the puree and the chicharonnes with it. Lastly my husband and I got the salted caramel pot de creme. Loved it. 10/10. Not too sweet. Loved the texture with the vanilla breton on top. My husband also got the Americano to finish, wonderful and superb as he said it. 10/10. Definitely will come back here and try their other dishes. ❤️More infoNightingalePrice: Expensive• Canadian• Coal Harbour•4.7

Both our server and food runner took time to explain every part of the menu, and the aspects to each dish we ordered. My partner and I are certain we’ve had some of the best cocktails and the best sushi at Miku. Quality is their specialty and their service is always impeccable. Especially on a busy night like Valentine’s Day, everything ran smoothly for us and we were provided with a booth for the two of us which made dinner extra special! Thank you to the manager as well for responding quickly via email when I had questions about the set menu! Highly recommend their Aburi set, as it gives you a chance to try a variety of items, and for drinks the bergamot sour is a go to for a sweet yet balanced cocktail!More infoMiku Restaurant - VancouverPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Coal Harbour•4.8
- AAutumnhollyVancouver / British Columbia •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoAmazing service from an amazing gentleman, brought my sober boyfriend a NA shot for his birthday, and myself one to take with him. We really enjoyed our steak & fries - the steak was delicious and tender. Great selection of beers to choose from as well. We had an amazing night and ended up getting engaged about an hour after leaving. Joey is now going to be a very special place for us. - SSalVancouver / British Columbia •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoCame here to celebrate our anniversary yesterday. Great food and great value. William the GM was exceptionally kind and treated me and my girlfriend very well. Thank you for your hospitality and we will definitely be coming back to Chop again! Crab cake was great, blue cheese bacon wedge salad was OK, furious fries are nice, chicken was great (wish it came with mashed potatoes like the picture!), lobster mac as a main instead of just a side would be amazing - I really enjoyed it (just wished there was more!), and the pink lemonade cocktail is dangerously good. Thank you once again!More infoCHOP Steakhouse & Bar - Coal HarbourPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Coal Harbour•4.4
