Cost was $5 more a meal then what is normal back home but this is a vacation spot. It’s to be expectedMore infoCherokee Grill and SteakhousePrice: Moderate• American• Gatlinburg•4.4
- JJuliaEast Tennessee •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoUnanimously the best meal my husband and I had of 2024. We were seated on the patio on a 40 degree night, and it was perfectly comfortable. The pork belly “small plate” knocked our socks off, and the veggie pasta was outstanding. Our only regret was not leaving room for dessert, because that doughnut bread pudding looked BOMB. Didn’t particularly care for our server. He was easily distracted and kept repeating himself. A dinner for 2 turned into a 2 hour affair, but the biggest hangups were coming back to take our order and bringing us our bill. Could have been an off night for him, we’ve all been there, and it didn’t alter our experience to keep us from ever coming back.More infoDancing Bear Appalachian BistroPrice: Very Expensive• American• Knoxville•4.9
- KKatherineRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •14 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFantastic as always. One of the things I always love here is the size of the baked potatoes. This time mine was half the size of the one my husband got. That was the only complaint I have. They need to use the smaller potatoes for something else.More infoThe Chop House - SeviervillePrice: Moderate• Steak• Sevierville•4.5
- TTeresaNashville •16 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe are seafood lovers but were hesitant about that fare in the Smoky Mountains. Rave reviews convinced us to try the Chesapeake. We are so glad we did! We were greeted pleasantly and taken to a booth overlooking the river. The hostess fretted that the quieter are we had requested now had a large party. The setting of our table was lovely, but the music level was a challenge for my husband with a hearing issue. Beyond that, our meal was wonderful. The grilled oysters that we shared were delightful with the yummy bread provided. Our cocktails were brought promptly and were the perfect accompaniment to the appetizer. Our entrees were delicious - crab cakes and Chesapeake shrimp. For sides we chose the bacon and cheddar grits and Cole slaw. Both were tasty, although the grits could have been warmer. We each ordered a glass of NZ white wine with our dinners. Our server, Eliana, was pleasant and proficient. This was our favorite meal in Gatlinburg. We highly recommend The Chesapeake.More infoChesapeake’s Restaurant - GatlinburgPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Gatlinburg•4.8
