Restaurants near Fair Oaks Dairy Adventure

Four family members from out of state and I had dinner tonight at The Lighthouse Restaurant. The holiday spirit was alive with beautiful and festive decorations and lovely live music. The food was awesome. Four of us had steaks, three filet mignons and one top sirloin. The steaks were totally tender, cooked to perfection, the salads crisp and fresh, potatoes and vegetables tasty and cooked just right, the warm bread and butter delicious and the Grouper which the fifth person in our party had was scrumptious. Our waitress was very pleasant and patient and very attentive and helpful. We had a wonderful dining experience and I cannot wait to get back for another exceptional meal.

Took my friend to Coopers Hawk in New Lenox for her birthday lunch. Our server, Christina, was attentive and pleasant. My friend had the parmesan chicken which she enjoyed. I had the pork chop. I never order pork chops at a restaurant but decided to try it and I'm so glad I did. It was delicious and would highly recommend it. My friend also got a free dessert treat for her birthday....how nice is that!

From walking in the door until the time we left we could not have been more pleased! Everything was spot on! Our server was very knowledgeable and polite! Ordered the sausage and peppers appetizer and it was amazing! Husband had the dry aged ribeye and I had the trio filet medallions, both perfectly prepared to medium rare. We shared a crème brûlée, delicious! We had several wait staff tending to our needs through the evening, from clearing used dishes to keeping our waters filled. Manager checked in to say hello and ask if everything was good. We will definitely be back! A very nice fine dining touch to Crown Point!!!

Service was exceptional, will be asking for Julies Section on future visits! Julie in Merrillville is outstanding. :)
