Restaurants near New Hanover Station

Lovely evening. Lovely dinner. A bit of a wait - apparently they were hit with a crowd. Server was friendly and very competent. It is not a cheap dinner - but it was a good one.

Everything was wonderful. We had the Sticky Cauliflower for an appetizer and Beef Wellington and filet mignon for entrees. Everything was cooked perfectly and was extremely flavorful and fresh. The side of roasted romanesco had a unique spicy flavor. Dessert was the highly-recommended Sticky Toffee Pudding that was topped with a very different tasting burnt cinnamon ice cream that we had never tasted before. The noise level in the restaurant was low enough that you could carry on normal conversation. Service was excellent, and the entire staff was very friendly. Our server, Anthony, was outwardly personable, attentive and very helpful.

Thanksgiving is so filled with memories so it is hard to please. Gallagher 's was outstanding. The food on the plate was a skilled balance. Not too sweet, not overcooked, moist and served warm. The wait staff was attentive without hovering. The whole experience was highly rated by everyone at the table. Well done!

We started with beet carpaccio which was amazing. Then shared the pear and gorgonzola salad. The birthday boy got a steak and I got the Delicata Squash side. At that point I was so full that I could barely finish half, even though it was delicious. Everything about the evening was wonderful and our server, Jordan, was engaging. There when we needed her but not hovering. It's a lively atmosphere, so not the place if you want to have a quiet convo but the food and service are top notch.

Had a lovely Mothers Day brunch! The food was really good and there was a great selection of brunch foods. Our server was friendly. Would definitely go back!
