- DDominiqueSouthwest Florida •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur overall experience was very good but the evening started on a singular note because of a nasty comment from our server Alex who mocked the question of one guest of our party. It gave us a sinking feeling right away. Gladly the food was very good, the manager Alejandro very understanding when our bottle of wine was corked and gave us a new one, plus we were not charged for a cocktail that the glass was cracked sharply and we did not see it until we finished the drink. A beautiful evening that could have started on a better note than mocking a guest by telling them that their question about the decor ‘WAS A FIRST’. THANK YOU ALEJANDRO (the manager) FOR SAVING THE EVENING and thank you to the chef and the nice young girl who was attentive to all our needs. - YYolyNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFinally, a steak house closer south for foodies in Miami! Located in a non-descript area, behind a Starbucks, you walk into this restaurant and get transported to one of the fancy places in Wynwood or Coral Gables. The food is fire!!! Steaks are treated with amazing spice and torched with rosemary at your table. The tuna tartar rocked and the dessert what nothing else but a visual and taste experience! Make a reservation and go as soon as you can, before it gets too hard to get in.More infoPlatea Prime Steakhouse & Ceviche BarPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Pinecrest•4.9
- NPNikkiP19New York City •36 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI’m so happy I had my birthday dinner here. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the start to finish. Especially Jil and our server Cameron was so knowledgeable about the various dishes and drinks we tried. My mom started with the ume blossom for her cocktail and said it was smooth. I had the margarita verde which is sweet but spicy and delicious. To start we ordered the salmon crispy rice and that was a perfect selection. That had us wanting more. We then ordered the grilled spanish octopus which was grilled to perfection. Then Mediterranean Black Cod was the star of the table. It was so buttery and delicious. It kept slipping from my fork. We also ordered the spicy chipotle lamb chops with shiso yogurt and it was a great compliment to the black cod. For a side we had the broccolini with miso tahini and it was great. Last but not least I had the citrus olive oil cake with Greek yogurt and that was the best dessert to compliment our dinner. Overall I enjoyed my dinner and had a wonderful birthday. I definitely recommend and come back!More infoMILAPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• South Beach•4.7
