                                                                                  On a sub-freezing evening, keeping the vestibule door open so the staff could get up and down the stairs more easily was unwise. It was cold throughout the restaurant, regardless of location. Food was a mixed result: some very good, some so overly rich it was almost sickening. Wait staff was very sweet but forgetful.

                                                                                  We had a very enjoyable dinner here. The sole and the mussels were both terrific. The service was attentive, and the restaurant was nice and quiet, conducive to conversation. We will be back.

                                                                                  We brought a friend from Vietnam as it was his first time in US and first day in Boston. He had the lamb, my husband had the Beef Bourguignon and I had the Dover sole (which I always get at La Voile) and all were delicious. We are never disappointed…fabulous. And best decaf cappuccinos!                                                                                   The duck confit was delicious, tender and flavorful. The restaurant serves traditional French cuisine. We were there for Thanksgiving 3-course dinner, it was a lot of food!

                                                                                  The onion soup was the best I’ve had. The care and attention from the serving team was eloquent. The bread was also perfect It was a lovely afternoon in France without the plane ride!
