This special long-standing neighborhood trattoria is such a wonderful friendly positive experience—especially on the dismal rainy night I are there this Monday evening. I was alone, but the caring service and happy atmosphere of neighborhood patrons made me feel so welcome and part of the dining experience. Atlanta is a town of many fine start-up restaurants—but sadly a lot are gone within a year or more. Tavola has offered a VERY fine dining experience for years now—and a true welcome to the diner who cares about great Italian food—for Atlanta’s intown inhabitants (and not a few from outside the locale who remember what special place it is). And don’t think just because they’ve been around for many years they don’t still offer new exciting Italian dishes regularly. I had a Malfadine Al Nero dish that was superb! We are so fortunate to have this restaurant in Virginia Highlands!! (And I’m going back next Monday to try another dish!)

Valet parking was convenient. Restaurant nice and cozy. Great wine selection. Server was helpful in assisting with selection. Food was average. Tiramisu was excellent.

The chicory salad was fresh and sublime. Our rabbit pasta was also delicious and clearly made to order with our specifications. The service team is kind and knowledgeable. LaTavola is a hidden gem!

Thanks for a great experience Dakota! We tried 8 items on the menu and were very impressed with 6 of them. This is a great value with exceptional service in a nice setting. We will certainly be back and are excited to try the other restaurants that are affiliated.

Absolutely fantastic! Came here to celebrate my birthday and had one of the best dinners of my life. Service was exceptional and we were well taken care of throughout our meal.
