Dinner was fabulous, service was excellent. Only issue is that we ordered 2 items that the server did not know they were out of. And quite honestly we were surprised since it was 6:00 pm on a Friday.

I was very disappointed. We had a coarser salad with rock hard tomatoes. A special flounder dish where I could barely find the fish. I was disappointed. This is a place to come for the pasta. The other items were really sub par. My daughter’s pasta was good.

We were seated promptly and host asked if we had brought wine! Ohohoh! Restaurant does not have a liquor license. Italian food without a glass of wine did not seem right! Luckily host was able to tell us on request where we might buy some (5min walk). Our orders were excellently prepared: pastas for each of us. I had linguine neri—-a favorite of mine and I would say it was the best version of the dish I have had! They were not skimpy on the lobster and crab in abundance The serving was enough for dinner and lunch the following day!

If you are looking for a quiet romantic spot you are in the wrong place. If you want amazing Italian food with a communal vibe then you will love it here. The seating is tight so be prepared for close quarter dining but it’s perfect for people who enjoy getting to know their neighbors. I had Vitello Alla Fontana and my wife had Gnocchi Alla Gorgonzola and we loved every bite. Can’t wait to go back.

The food was great but the service was so-so. I was sat between two huge parties in a basically empty dining room, they forgot my sparking water twice (after not asking my preference and pouring me two glasses of tap of a table of one), and I didn’t get a rundown of the specials / menu. The waiter walked up and said “do you know what you want?” like it was McDonalds haha. I wouldn’t suggest this place as a solo diner, but it seems great for big families.
