The food was delicious. Because they were out of baby back ribs, I was forced to try something I’ve never ordered before. The stroganoff was delicious!

We were seated in the bar area table which was very tight. It was difficult to carry on a conversation. The weekday brisket special was sold out much to our dismay. The pulled pork advertised on the outdoor sign also was no longer on the menu. I ordered the filet special with mashed potatoes and lobster. The presentation was poor as it was two medallions is a sea of potato with lobster pieces and a mystery sauce on top. Tasty but visually a mess.

First time there! Very busy and fun for New Year’s Eve. Just moved here. We were disappointed to have made a reservation through Open Table and to be seated at the door to the kitchen. Not a great location! Otherwise meal was good. The bus boy kept taking our food before we ere done. I guess they wanted to flip tables fast. Waiter was fast and accommodating since we found out a while after that our meal was sold out and we had to substitute. Noisy, busy and not a great view of kitchen. But cute decor and popular.

We had a great lunch at L. Woods. Our waitress was very good. Can't go wrong getting their ribs, BBQ chicken, pounded chicken a la sima and chopped salad. Their walleye fish and chips is excellent, fried calamari is fried just right, and good cheese curds.
