For many years, the Kula Lodge has been a favorite for both visitors and Kama'aina alike for delicious cuisine and breathtaking views of Maui. Perched high on the slopes of Haleakala with a 180 degree view of Maui, the Kula Lodge and Restaurant is a comfortable and homey place to relax, especially on your way down from the sunrise or sunset at the crater. It is situated on 4 lovely acres and not only has a stunning botanical garden, it has the only full-service bar and live music in Kula, along with a wine cave/private dining room for special dinners/events.

The restaurant seats up to 160 guests, making it ideal for weddings and special events. The Kula Lodge outdoor Garden Terrace features a brick wood-burning pizza oven and an open view of south, central and the Maui mountains. The sunset views are absolutely phenomenal!

Kula Lodge & Restaurant is open 7 days a week for Brunch, Happy Hour and Dinner. There is also a retail shop and 5 hotel rooms on property. Call for more info!

    Sat outside and was the most beautiful and amazing view you could imagine. Food service was a bit slow, but it really didn’t matter as we kept taking in the scenery and wonderful air.

    We were so looking forward to celebrating our birthdays together at Kula Lodge. From the beginning you could tell there was something off. It took over an hour to get our food and no one even had the courtesy to come to our table and let us know what was going on. When the food did show up one sandwich was burnt to a crisp and one quiche was raw. They did comp those two meals but by then it was too little too late. So disappointing. Maybe this place has seen better days.

    The buffet was fabulous. The service was also incredibly good. We are hoping for another buffet in the future.

    Mothers Day brunch @ $98 per plus mandatory 20% was a little pricey for a very standard breakfast line hotel style brunch. We live close by and love Kula Lodge and will always come back but a few more choices and perhaps menu service as well as the buffet might be something to consider for next year.
