   The ambiance is nice. Service was kind but a little on the slow side. Nothing unrealistic though. Food in tasted pretty good overall, but portions in were small for the price. My group agreed that each plate seemed about $5-$7 more than what it should've been

   Excellent service. Delicious food. Everyone was in a great mood on Christmas Day which because it’s a holiday you never know. Very enjoyable meal.

   Christmas dinner was not a present. Ordered the prime rib, worst prime rib I’ve ever had, dry, over cooked, flavorless. Others had similar experience with their food. Expensive lunch for a disappointing experience.

   Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and gave good suggestions when we inquired about certain menu items. She took the time to steer us in the right direction when making our dinner selections. We were dining on Christmas Day and arrived before most of the crowd were expected later in the afternoon. This made for an enjoyable experience with not too much noise and extra attention from our server and management as they moved around checking in on tables. From the burgers to filet to salmon everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Those in our group that had the tuna tartare starter said it was fresh and well worth ordering. At the next table I could see the turkey and ham specials and they also looked delicious. We would definitely recommend coming back.

   This was my second time going to Kona and I will continue to go because the service is top notch and the energy and vibe is always on point

   One diner had a food allergy and informed the server at the time of placing their order. Their food was made incorrectly which meant they had to wait for another entree to be made. By the time their food came out the rest of the table was done eating. Hair found in food Food was cold When asked the server for butter and salt for potatoes that were already nit very hot the server was seen refilling water glasses at another table. She forgot the butter and salt. We had to ask again and by that time the potatoes were very cold. She brought another side of potatoes which again were not hot. For the prices you pay the food is not up to the standards it should be. I will not return to this restaurant in the future.

    Took 30 minutes for drinks to arrive and they were the wrong ones. Had to flag someone down to get that corrected (no sign of waiter) and that too another 15 minutes! Sushi was very good but service was terrible
