About this restaurant

  • Good for special occasions
  • Great for outdoor dining
  • Healthy
Established in 2005, King’s Fish House is Rancho Cucamonga’s choice for seafood. Located in Victoria Gardens, King’s Fish House features a large selection of fresh oysters, seasonal catches, sushi and live shellfish, including lobster and crab, on a menu that changes daily.

We’ve been in restaurants a little while – three generations, to be precise. A long time ago, we embarked on a road trip in search of the ultimate seafood experience. We traveled down highways and byways, pulled up a seat, put on bibs and soaked up the seafood experience: the no-name dishes with unforgettable flavor, the fresh-caught oysters and clams piled high, the hand-lettered specials on ancient chalkboards and the savory simmer of every combination of spices imaginable.

Welcome to the House that Seafood Built.

Come gather with us, celebrate, relax and enjoy a seafood dining experience of high quality, comfort, service and value.

Really quality food. Dishes are pretty dimly cooked but delicious. Shiny lobster is not cheap but has outstanding taste.

The restaurant itself was really nice when we walked in, we came for a late lunch so it was dimly lit inside but lots of windows so the lighting was perfect. Celebrated my boyfriends’s birthday by starting with some cocktails which were fantastic, the jalepeno was a nice addition and the flavors blended really well. Got the King’s sushi roll as an appetizer and enjoyed that. I ha Frye Chilean sea bass which was super flakey and tender and extremely flavorful. The Brussels sprouts were one of my sides and I’d probably double up on those next time they were so good. My boyfriend had the Spiny Lobster (1.5lb) with Mac and cheese and spinach. The lobster melted in your mouth, definitely worth the price. The sides were good but the seafood was by far the show stealer. Had the bread pudding as a complimentary birthday dessert with a scoop of ice cream. It was very tasty and a nice finish to a great meal. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.

Did not disappoint. Loved our drinks and food. Ordered the clams and yellowtail poke and it was so delicious. Ordered a couple cocktails - flourish & prosper and two by the sea and they were are also so delicious. Service on a Saturday was above average. Our server was so attentive and I was also impressed the manager was going table to table making sure everything was good.

The only reservations available were outside on the heated patio. The food was consistent and service was good but dropped off severely at the end. Our waitress seemed to have disappeared and we had to wait quite a while for her to return and bring our check. It was quite warm when we were initially seated but the longer we were there, the patio became so incredibly hot from all of the heaters that we watched several tables asked to be moved and this was on a cold evening. It was like a sweatbox but thankfully it wasn't horrible for our entire dinner. I find it very hard to believe that the heaters are not adjustable with various heat settings. This is one of the restaurants that we frequent at least a couple of times per month and usually everything is great. This visit was not up to the usual standards we expect from King's.

Food excellent but expensive however what isn’t. First server great but ended her shift. Her replacement not so great. Interfaced with a self described manager with no customer skills. Over all a great facility with great food. Service is hit and miss. Getting tired of large bills accompanied by service that think compensate large tips are a given. TIPS=To Insure Proper Service.

Amazing per usual. I can’t complain about anything. One request would be the the Brussels sprouts be crispy, but the taste was still fantastic.
