Established in 1998, King’s Fish House is Orange’s choice for seafood. Located at the Stadium Promenade and minutes away from Angels Stadium and the Honda Center, King’s Fish House features a large selection of fresh oysters, seasonal catches, sushi and live shellfish, including lobster and crab, on a menu that changes daily.

We’ve been in restaurants a little while – three generations, to be precise. A long time ago, we embarked on a road trip in search of the ultimate seafood experience. We traveled down highways and byways, pulled up a seat, put on bibs and soaked up the seafood experience: the no-name dishes with unforgettable flavor, the fresh-caught oysters and clams piled high, the hand-lettered specials on ancient chalkboards and the savory simmer of every combination of spices imaginable.

We keep coming back and trying new dishes. Tonight we had shrimp and scallops. Our server was wonderful. Friendly and helpful. We sat outside under the heat lamps and it was divine. The scallops were tender and delicious. The shrimp may have been slightly over cooked, but still good. I tried the carrots and they needed to be fork tender, but were not. They were seasoned just right. And we keep coming back.

Service was very good. Food quality was a bit disappointing this time--some menu items we got were great, others not so much. I'll try again in hopes this was just an off night for them.

A friendly host, attentive server and good food. A good spot to go to prior to the movie house next door and the Honda center.

Somebody forgot to make one of our entrees. By the time they realized it 20 minutes after the other entrees were served they offered to make it really quick and offered to provide free desert but the moment was lost. How long does it take to make fish tacos? Very disappointing both in the original mistake and then botched customer service.

We were grateful to have been able to find a place open on Thanksgiving. One of the dinners we ordered was the Thanksgiving dinner. It was not good at all. Turkey had a funny taste to it, stuffing was hard then soggy at the base, almost as if it were microwaved. We expected more at $50+ for the turkey dinner. Everything else was delicious. We should have just gotten out usual, it is a fish house and Turkey dinners are not their specialty.
