   We made reservations for dinner.We had a lovely server named Sean. She explained the specials and offered our drinks. She always came around at the right time. Our food was served hot and delicious. We left very happy and full

   We had lunch for a birthday this week. We were warmly greeted by the hostesses and seated at our choice of table. Our server Julie was smiling and attentive. She brought our drinks and their wonderful warm sourdough bread & butter [still free after all these years] promptly. We ordered the seared yellowfin salad as usual and for the first time tried the tuna melt sandwich. The sandwich was messy [I think the tuna chunks are too big], but tasty and they added pickled onions for me. The fries were done perfectly extra crispy as ordered and their garlic sauce was great for dipping the fries. Unfortunately the yellowfin in the salad was a poor/stringy piece and ruined the salad so when Julie stopped by to ask how the food was tasting, we told her the salad wasn't as good as on previous visits. Julie asked if we wanted a new one, we declined, so she offered a chowder on the house which we accepted, she also offered to leave the salad too, but no thanks. The spicy chowder was just okay. Later, manager Candace stopped by the table to apologize about the salad and told us she looked it over and agreed the fish was not up to their standard so she took the charge off our tab. Candace was apologetic and took responsibility for the problem. Since it was a birthday lunch, we were offered a choice of any dessert on the house and chose the butter cake which was delicious. Thanks to Candace our less than stellar birthday lunch turned out okay.

   I had reserved a table and when I checked in I was told it was ready and then we found that someone was already seated at the table. It was an accident on the part of person at the front desk, but took a little while to straighten out. And then we were seated at an alternate booth. Not a huge deal but kind of an irritating start. So I suggest that when a guest is checked in they are asked to provide both their first and last names to avoid mistaken identities. Thanks, LK

   Kings Fish House is family favorite for meeting up for Sunday lunch. The service is always great as is the food. Also enjoy the ambience. Kristy was our very efficient, congenial server.

    Never fails to deliver excellent food and drink. Fish is cooked to perfection every time. The sour dough bread and butter whets your appetite. Service is consistently attentive and accommodating. Can’t recommend King’s enough for a perfect seafood dinner.
