Established in 1997, King’s Fish House is Laguna Hills’ choice for seafood. Located near the Laguna Hills Mall, King’s Fish House features a large selection of fresh oysters, seasonal catches, sushi and live shellfish, including lobster and crab, on a menu that changes daily.

We’ve been in restaurants a little while – three generations, to be precise. A long time ago, we embarked on a road trip in search of the ultimate seafood experience. We traveled down highways and byways, pulled up a seat, put on bibs and soaked up the seafood experience: the no-name dishes with unforgettable flavor, the fresh-caught oysters and clams piled high, the hand-lettered specials on ancient chalkboards and the savory simmer of every combination of spices imaginable.

    We started with the octopus and clams appetizers and they were so good. We ordered cocktails which were excellent. And our main dishes were the macadamia nut crusted halibut, cioppino, and the sea bass. The fish and seafood were all excellent, fresh and cooked to perfection. We were so full but got the butter cake for my son’s birthday and it was yummy. Service was outstanding. From reception, our amazing server, and all the staff at the restaurant were all so kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our experience as well as the excellent food and service. From start to finish was a wonderful time.

    We were sat at a booth was facing the open outside doors and it was freezing, on top of that they had the air conditioner running. The clam chowder was bad with very hard pieces of clam or something in it, just didn’t taste right. The bake potato came out cold and hard, you have to pay for cheese if you want it on the potato. Had to send the potato back because it wasn’t even prepared correctly. The salmon was just par and the Signature dish Yellowtail Carpaccio had some sort of mayonnaise on it that made it taste awful, it was also cut way to thick, should be thin sliced. The hostess who initially sat us at the booth had absolutely no personality, so thank goodness are waiter was great. We use to come here a lot, but never again.

    I really like Kings. It’s a really nice place to celebrate a bday! The food is good and you are not rushed to finish and get out. The staff is all very pleasant and want you to have a gd experience. Some areas of the restaurant are noisy, so I like to go on the early side before it gets busy.

    This restaurant is a good place to get a good satisfying meal. The waiters and waitresses are very good, they work hard to satisfy your meal requests . I have been here many times and will go back again.

    My husband always takes me to Kings for my birthday dinner (as well as other times) because we love the freshness of the fish and the great service. My favorite is scallops so I almost always order those. They were superb, of course!
