   It was me and my boyfriend’s first time coming here, and we wanted something special for our anniversary and it was a wonderful experience! Everyone was nice but our server was especially very kind and attentive. We got the calamari for an appetizer which was delicious and cooked perfectly. I got the tilapia with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts, and my boyfriend got the shrimp with scallops and mashed potatoes also and we loved it all! Our favorite part was dessert, we got the butter cake and it just melts in your mouth. It was perfect and we can’t wait to go back!

   Second time we requested a Booth and they walked us out to the table and it’s embarrassing to stand there and we requested a booth . They should have asked us at the podium if we were ok with a table , and there fish & Chips is mushy inside . Service good .

   Table for 6 on NYE. We had an excellent server~ The food was good overall with 4 of the 6 entrees ordered prepared very well. 2 in our party complained the fish was overcooked. (Same entree of wild mexican sea bass) Last night the sushi was better than in times past which was a good surprise! They did quite well for a holiday evening and we enjoyed our time there.

   Decided to give King's Fish House, a former favorite, another try after some recent average experiences. And it was an up and down experience. It was early New Year's Eve - a 4:45 reservation - and right away was just made to feel insignificant. Two other tables who arrived after us were seated before us. And when we were finally seated at 5 (and the restaurant is less than half full), we were given the worst seats possible. We did request a move and were quickly accommodated. And then all servers we came in contact with were most excellent. Beer and wine were very good. Their sourdough bread remains terrific. But shrimp appetizer wasn't quite as good as we remembered - still spicy, but the shrimp itself didn't taste great. Spicy chowder was also very good. The entrees were where the stumbling came. Fish on sandwich was undercooked. Cheeseburger ordered medium well was more like medium rare. Grilled fish was OK, but baked potato remained great. And the recommended butter cake was very good.

   This is the best restaurant in Calabasas! From the high quality of their food and great service, to the lovely and peaceful ambience. And no corkage fee!

   The server was terrible and she affected the experience of being at King’s Fish Company. Typically the experience is great but her service was awful. I do not want this server again, so hopefully there is a way that she can be replaced and reported. She made the experience of being at King’s Fish Company non stellar. Overall the food was average and the atmosphere was good, but it was very cold in the restaurant which made the experience not so great. I will go back there hopefully the non par aspects of this experience will change. More importantly please give me a new server she was absolutely terrible. The experience was average.

    We love to go back to Kings Fish House because it has good service , good ambiance and above all really good choices of delicious fish dishes . The drinks and the desserts are also good too .
