I went out with my husband, and we had a craving for a Sunday roast. We arrived and were not seated for quite some time, and the server we ended up having, Farek, was not the best. Then we tried to order our entrees and everything was virtually sold out. Ended up eating a burger and hubby ate a fish sandwich. Food was great, what they had not sold out of, and the service needs improvement.

My wife and I have been to Jones Wood many times for dinner but not for brunch. Glad we tried it. Lots of good choices. The food service and atmosphere is always great.

The menu was so interesting, and the food looked so good, we kept ordering starting with the Yorkshire Pudding Popover, Welsh Rarebit (OMG), & Scotch Egg. Then we went to the Fish & Chips & Bangers and Mash. For dessert, we had the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Service was professional. Place looked great. The Bar, and Dining Rooms, were nearly full so I'm glad we made a reservation on OpenTable. This is definitely, now, our 'go-to' place on the Upper East Side of Manhattan!

A wonderful lunch with excellent attention and service! “Melty” leg of lamb, crispy skin on fresh salmon and a sticky toffee pudding that I always order.

I enjoyed my experience. Sadly, the primary reason is that the restaurant was empty and it was so quiet I did not have continue to ask anyone, “What did you say?”
