   Horrible service if you can even call it that. Server didn’t even say hi, just barked DRINK? A minute after we sat down. I said I haven’t had a chance to look and he came back literally 1 minute later and I wasn’t ready. Seemed annoyed and then when he finally came back I told him what I wanted and he goes WHAT? Like sorry it’s so loud in here but I’m not screaming my order. No one ever checked on how the food was, nothing. Just want to get you in and out. I was the most excited to come here on my trip and it was the worst experience for mediocre food.

   A mixed bag of positives and negatives at the Newport Beach location. I’ve tried the location in La Jolla and it was light years ahead of this location on multiple fronts in regards to service level and the culinary perspective. The valet wait was very long when arriving (like ten minutes). Upon arrival inside we were greeted by a friendly host and seated right away. The table was off centered and would rock but the gracious waiter or manager moved us to a nice booth. The venue is extremely loud and it felt like we were in a mess hall at Ramstein Air Base. The restaurant is beautiful and it felt like we were on vacation in Cabo. The drinks were very good. The main problem was the waitress who literally was non-existent and we were mostly served by the actual server. The waitress was clueless and needs to attend charm school. The food was average, nothing spectacular like at their La Jolla location or other Mexican restaurants I’ve experienced around the world. I will say the restaurant was very busy for a Wednesday night. Upon leaving, the valet again was a hodgepodge and in complete disarray. I don’t think we’ll return to this location.

   Our experience at this Javier's was overall fantastic. The food and service were what you always hope a restaurant of this caliber would be. We would recommend that if you are dining at a busy time of day to arrive early as this is an extremely busy restaurant and center, and the parking lots can completely fill up and the valet can get backed up. Other than that, our experience was top notch!

   Good. It’s always good here, but be ready to order soon. They don’t like you to take too much time to visit before ordering. Still amazing though.

   Celebrated birthday here. It wasn’t even mentioned or brought up by anybody and I didn’t even bother telling them given that it was noted on reservation.

   Beautiful restaurant haven’t been here since they remodeled and absolutely loved the new look feels so much bigger and inviting. Came for late night birthday dinner and looking forward to coming earlier to watch the sunset. The food was delicious and service top of the line. Great date night spot.

    The ambiance was 10/10 and decor was very nice. The food was good quality and good size portion. Also Best chips and salsa!!!
