Artistically designed with unique sculptures, Javier's Crystal Cove provides guests with ocean views in a cozy, contemporary atmosphere to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. It opened its doors in 2008 on Newport Beach and is conveniently close to the Crystal Cove Shopping Center. This restaurant offers guests an upscale dining experience with such entrees as the Maine lobster enchilada topped with Monterey jack cheese and grilled chicken breasts braised in chipotle sauce. Javier's Crystal Cove serves a variety of fresh seafood dishes, appetizers and delicious desserts. It has a full bar that features numerous tequilas, cocktails, beers and wine. Javier’s is always an amazing experience. My wife and I have been to the La Jolla and Las Vegas locations. All amazing! This one had brighter interior and a lot of room. It was packed when we went. Food was great and service was fast! Only thing is we didn’t know we had to valet our car when we turned into their parking lot but not really a big issue. Can’t wait to go back!

My party of eight was sat in a corner tucked away, so we didn’t really get to experience the full ambience of this place.

Beautiful restaurant and all of the staff from valet to food service bar none. My favorite is the crab and shrimp enchiladas. Better not be on budget when you eat here but the food is soo good and consistent and delicious. Even order their rice and beans on the side now. We also order their Jidori chicken tostadas which we special order. Yum!!

Great venue. Good food, a little pricey (but what do you expect from S CA?!). Good people watching and amazing sunset views. Place to be seen!

Service was not great — the waiter was all over us to order drinks when we sat down, then forgot my MIL’s wine until we had almost finished eating. Ordered guacamole to start and it took at least 20 mins — at lunchtime (wasn’t busy). Been to Javier’s many times and every time I think, just come for a drink next time. Margaritas are great and the food is decent but not really worth the price IMO. bill was $300 for 5 of us (split 3 entrees, 1 app, and 5 drinks).

Overall the experience was great from the food, to the service and everything in between. The staff are very friendly, attentive and make sure that you are taken care of. The updates that have been made really add to the experience. Thank you for a great time.
