   We love Jaks. Our favorite is the skewers, today we tried the Brussel Sprouts and they were fantastic.

   Always a great meal at Jak’s. I do miss the old version of the French onion soup with cheese flowing over the crock bowl.

   Only one side option with an entree… come on I was ok with the deletion of the salad. don’t take away the sides. What are you, Ruth Chris!?

   Server didn't check back on us, and her section was not busy. The fries with my steak sandwich were pretty sad looking. I would rate the food good not spectacular. The dessert was actually very good. I expected better service from a high end restaurant.

   We have always had a great experience at Jak’s. If you have people in your party that have hearing issues, it’s better to go early.

   We used to go to Jak's Grill in Issaquah all the time and loved it. Then they changed the chef a few years back, the quality of the food suffered, and we stopped going. We decided to go back to see if it had changed back enough for us to re-start supporting them and, sadly, it has not. The service was spotty, my wine order did not arrive with or prior to my dinner selection and I had to ask our server about it as he was rushing by. The ribeye I ordered had good flavor but it was gristly and fatty throughout (virtually every bite)...very disappointing. In addition, it was not to the temperature I had requested. My wife's filet was good but the vegetables were not. Deserts were decent but not enough to make up for all the other shortcomings. We remember when the restaurant used to be packed, with people shoulder to shoulder at the bar and groups of patrons waiting to be seated. At 7:30PM last night, one hour ahead of our reservation time, we were seated immediately. We wish them luck.

    We love JaK’s. Consistently delicious. Fantastic service. Atmosphere is awesome. Our waiter was Joe. He was excellent!!
