              Went for our anniversary dinner. There was a card thanking us for choosing Jake's for the celebration. Our server was attentive and the food was on point. Enjoying the sunset capped the evening!

              Our experience was wonderful start to finish. We came in to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday and were led to a cozy booth with a view of the sunset over the beach outside. Cocktails were fantastic, and we got a couple of apps but the brussel sprouts stole the show. Definitely don't skip them! Our short rib and seared ahi tuna entrees were amazing as well, to the point that we shared both because we couldn't decide which was better. And of course, the staple hula pie for the birthday boy topped off our visit. Service was great the whole way through and Alicia took such great care of us. Thank you Jake's!! We'll definitely be back next time we’re in San Diego.

              Sashimi and Brussel sprout appetizers were excellent. Poke Bowl was solid. Kids fish was good but chicken tenders were dry. Overall good meal and the service today was outstanding. If you want consistent, quality food and unmatched ocean views Jake’s is your place.

              We celebrated my husband's birthday for lunch. The only bad thing was the menu was pretty limited for lunch. The service was great, food was good, the view is spectacular!

              The Mahi Caesar salad was wonderful. The fish was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very good and efficient. It was a bit noisy. Otherwise very good.

              Not being able to be seated until our whole party arrived was a drag. It was an after hours get together for coworkers and we don’t all get out at the same time. This is fine for a couples or family dinner when you are all together but does not make sense for other groups. Lesson learned.

              This is amazing dinner location get there for sunset and enjoy it for over an hour from your table. Food is wonderful and service is top notch. Use the valet ba trying to find a parking spot.
