    Service was impeccable. Fried Haddock was perfectly crisped but the mushy peas underneath it were our favorite part of our dinner. Wonderful cocktails, too!

    We had a surprisingly testy waiter. Our glasses of champagne weren’t really cold. When we asked to have them replaced, the waiter complied but became very dismissive. He barely spoke to us for the rest of the meal. When we asked to split the check between two credit cards, he refused to give us a receipt for one of them, which we needed for an expense report. The Dover sole was overdone, as was the side of Brussels sprouts. We used to make a special trip to this restaurent. No more.

    I have been to J Sheekeys many times in the past, but I was disappointed in my most recent visit to be sat in their overflow covered pavement area, which lacks all of the ambience and charm that I enjoy J Sheekeys for. The service was very slow, we had to ask for attention for every interaction and we only got our aperitif cocktails after half an hour and as we were finishing mains. The food remains good, but with so many options in central London, J Sheekeys now feels over-priced and lacking quality.

    As always a generally excellent lunch experience. The Sea bream was fantastic , good service and the usual J Sheekey’s buzz . One minor gripe a small child was on the table / alcove next to us . At times he stretched out kicking me lightly and was also at times a bit noisy. But for the most part he was well behaved. The above did not detract from an enjoyable lunch.

    Took my boyfriend here for his birthday meal and we had such a good time. The food was amazing, service was really good and the setting felt very special. It is on the pricier side (especially if you're having alcohol) but the food is very reasonably priced for the quality and there are cheaper options if that's what you're looking for. Would highly recommend

    Service a little slow, could see waste bin bags lying on the floor when sat at the bar area looking in to the prep area. But food, drinks and the general atmosphere all incredible - highly recommend
