   We had a fabulous date night experiencing J Gilbert for the first time. Everything was delicious and the service was great from beginning to end. Will definitely be back.

   I had the best time last night at J. Gilberts! We came early to see if we could get a seat at the bar area since our reservations were so late. They beyond exceeded my expectations and were extremely accommodating! The food was absolutely amazing! I would definitely be back! Thank you J. Gilberts and your staff from the hostess to the waitress and supporting waiters top notch experience!

   My wife and I had a wonderful time at J. Gilbert restaurant, celebrating Valentine's Day ❤️ the food and drinks were excellent. We had a great time

   The restaurant had a cool atmosphere. Both of our entrees came out wrong. We were never given steak knives though waitress said she’d get them. Service was slow. Also when I was asked if I’d like a second glass of wine I said yes… it was never brought to me. Waitress was nice but really struggled with service. Overall experience was disappointing and we were really looking forward to our Valentines dinner at J.Gilberts.

   It was Valentine's day so the experience may be atypical but it was not up to the standard we have previously experienced. The service was not as attentive as usual. The food quality, while good, was not what we anticipated. Finally, the wine list was subpar for an establishment at this price point.

   Overall experience was great. From the service to the quality of the food. Not much noise and was seated very quickly. If you're looking for a quality restaurant this is it. Prices are reasonable.

    I would never return to this restaurant. My steak was dry and tasteless. My au gratin potatoes were undercooked. Our waitress recommended the calamari, it was the worst I've had, just salty. Then our entrees took forever to come out when they did our waitress told us to watch out because the plates were hot, and they were, likely from sitting under a heat lamp. I could have gotten better steaks at Applebee's. Despite walking past our table several times to get to the kitchen, our waitress never stopped to ask how things were or let us know if she was checking on our food. My husband ate all his steak because he was so hungry from waiting so long, not because it was good. I only ate half my steak and two bites of potatoes, yet the manager would come by with the same line when gathering plates of "Looks like you hated it, haha" he never asked if we liked it or why I ate so little and didn't want anything to go. I'm guessing that was his deflection, so people do not tell him how awful it really is. Do not recommend and will never return.
