   Had a birthday dinner at J. Gilberts in Glastonbury CT. Started with warm blue cheese covered potato chips. Both wife & I had the 6oz filet mignon. Very tender and tasty. Service by Robert was very good. Highly recommend.

   Dine here regularly with good service and ambience. Have tried most of the entrees offered and food is very good, especially the steaks and herb chicken. Rated only 4 stars this time because I tried a flat iron steak special that did not seem on par for J Gilbert's. I would not recommend. Dessert was great as usual.

   We were seated promptly for our reservation. Service was also prompt, from welcoming us to beverage service, Our appetizer, salad and meal were timed properly by the waiter. Food quality and taste was outstanding. Well done.
