   We have been going to Irene’s since 1994 when it was on St. Philip. The new one on Bienville is very classy. Beautifully decorated, service, cocktails and food are outstanding, as they have always been! Our favorite restaurant in the French Quarter!!

   Great location- great service. Mediocre food and poor wine selection . Too many great places in NOLA - this was disappointing

   I've been trying to eat here for a while - never could snag a reservation for the right time. Well, it was worth the wait. The turtle soup was excellent. My dughter's oysters were very good. I had the duck and it was cooked perfectly and the sauce as great. The bread pudding bananas foster was so good we couldn't finish it. the service was top notch. The only negative of this place is that it is very loud - if you have old people with you that have hearing issues, they will not enjoy the place and you should look elsewhere. Or go very early before it's full. We will definitely be back. This goes in my top 3 list for next time I'm in town.

    Oysters Irene are the best baked oysters we've ever had! The service was amazing. It's a beautiful restaurant. We'll be back every time we visit New Orleans.
