Hugo's Frog Bar & Fish House opened its doors in February 1997 in the heart of Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood, next to sister restaurant Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse. Over 20 years after owners Hugo Ralli and Steve Lombardo set out to open the city's finest seafood restaurant, Hugo's continues to be the destination for premier east and west coast oysters, crudos, frog legs, lobster and seasonal fish and shellfish, in addition to Gibsons Prime Angus and Gibsons Grassfed Australian steaks. Beautiful private dining and events spaces available.

Everything was good except frog legs. Fridge legs are in the name of the restaurant - I excited more than a boiled piece of meat. Also, it's not mentioned that this restaurant is located inside Casino. I would not choose it if I would know this info. Otherwise- it was good food and good service. Thank you!

Always a treat to dine at Hugos. So happy that it’s 21 and over given it’s located in the casino. Food is consistently high in quality, and the servers know how to take care of their guests. Managers always pop in to check on the experience of the guests.

If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy an excellent meal, this is the place it’s not inexpensive but worth every single penny the service is impeccable and the food is outstanding

We enjoyed are dinner. We should have done more research on the location in advance, it was not known to us that this restaurant was located inside of the Rivers Casino, and the only point of entrance and exit requires entering into the casino and walking through the gaming floor to reach it. Had we known that more clearly in advance, we would have chosen a different location for this particular dinner. Also, note that signage to locate the restaurant is practically non-existent from the exterior of the casino, and we found the actual location of the restaurant not well marked at all inside the casino. Once inside, everything was good. I do think on the higher side or price point for the food that is provided, but the service was excellent, with the food being somewhere between good and very good.

I have ate at many of these restaurants of the past years. The service was meh, the food was luke warm, and just not attentive. For the price point this should have been far better. No point in complaining, as there is nothing to do. No manager stopped by, it was just a very weak showing on both the service side and the food side.
