Peanut butter chicken is excellent. Spring rolls and crab rangoon were really good. Service was good, restaurant was quiet.

The food was great, being from the west coast I am always leery of sushi in landlocked states. Theirs tasted amazing, more expensive than I would have liked with 2 people I walked out paying 130 for a lunch. I will be going again-

Hiro 88 has always been my favorite spot for sushi in Lincoln, but a recent experience left much to be desired. My husband and I made a 6:30 PM reservation for date night before heading to the Husker men’s basketball game. After being seated, we waited for about 25 minutes without being acknowledged. With just three servers on the floor, it was clear they were overwhelmed. One of them even mentioned she had been called in last minute due to being short-staffed. We ordered an appetizer, drinks, soup, and rolls, but the delivery order was baffling: sushi rolls came first, followed by soup, drinks, and finally the appetizer—when we were done with our entire meal. Events at Pinnacle Bank Arena are not a surprise; they’re scheduled well in advance. Staffing should reflect this. I felt terrible for the servers—they were working as hard as they could under challenging circumstances. However, it’s frustrating as a customer to deal with delays, especially when time is tight. I strongly encourage the management at this location to properly staff for events or limit walk-ins during peak times. If short-staffed, it would be far better to inform customers upfront about potential delays before seating them, allowing people the option to choose another restaurant. Communication and preparation go a long way in ensuring a positive experience for both staff and guests.

Food was great. The place looked good but our waitress had this attitude that was coming across to us. She made it seem slightly unwelcoming.

Not game day ready. Secured a reservation post-game and found the service can’t keep up. Our server was extremely slow, inattentive and disintetested. Don’t think we saw her smile once. Food was good, but it took forever to come out. Wouldn’t go back again considering the value for price and the poor service.

Table was sticky. My chair had hair on it. Server didn't have great knowledge of rewards member or how to use it. Salad was wilted.
