Hinterhšfle offers Franconian cuisine in a former Volkach townhouse. Chef Florian Ršschert prepares interesting menu items using fresh, seasonal ingredients, including freshly caught fish from the restaurant's pool. Guests can come in and dine on the terrace, which features rain protection and heat for enjoyment all year long. Hinterhšfle focuses on an ever-changing dining experience each season. Das Essen war sehr gut. Der filetierte Karpfen war gut gebraten. Die Weine waren gut gekühlt und werden zu einem guten Preis - Leistungsverhältnis angeboten. Leider ist der Geräuschpegel im Restaurant relativ hoch. Das liegt an der Einrichtung, die nicht dämpfend, sondern noch verstärkend wirkt.

Es war in Ordnung, Essen normal, allerdings sind die Preise teilweise heftig. Bedienung aufmerksam und freundlich. Insgesamt eher touristisch, da auch recht groß.

Die Qualität des Essens hat mich nicht überzeugt. Der Radlerteller bestand aus einem Hühnerbrustfilet auf einem Berg von Bandnudeln. Etwas lieblos angerichtet - und teuer. Das Auge isst doch auch mit! Im an sich tollen Ambiente war es etwas kalt.
