   Tout est frais et excellent, de l’entrée au dessert, c’est un mélange de saveur incroyable. Table d’hôte-Entrée de Sardines A1, repas palourde et porc très tendre en mijoté…excellent. Dessert au chocolat avec des touches de gelée de fruit et fruits frais et croustillants ajoutés. Je recommande cette belle expérience!!!

   Quelques groupes fêtaient Noel d’où le bruit. Excellent, nous alllons revenir.

   Le Restaurant Helena est sans aucun doute une des meilleures et grandes tables de la restauration à Montréal. Tout y est pensé et exécuté à la perfection. Quoique la gastronomie portugaise y est mise à l'honneur, la fusion des différents plats créés par l'excellente Chef-propriétaire Helena nous fait aussi voyager ailleurs aussi. Le service y est exemplaire et ajoute encore de la valeur à l'expérience. À ne pas manquer. Vaut un détour. P. S. Je constate que quelqu'un a retiré une de mes photos sur mon évaluation originale, sans m'en aviser. On n'a pas dû l'aimer... C'est la dernière fois que je fais une évaluation sur ce site.

   The salad, squid and black bass (which both of us had) were exquisite - the gastronomical masterclass of Helena, the chef, stood out. The ambience was classy but not overpowering. Our server was a wonderful conversationist.

   Je vous recommande ce restaurant et surtout la table d’hôte avec l’accord des vins. De très bonnes portions et tellement succulent. Excellent service de la part de tout le personnel accueillant et chaleureux.    This is an excellent restaurant with what appears be a strong local following. The menus is in French only so if you go and are not French I would try to study it in advance and do not bring kids, for reasons that my story will now illustrate. what happened to us is that the waitstaff kind of corralled us somewhat firmly into a $125 per plate samplers for me and my young son, who ate none of his. I don’t really blame them because my son insisted on spaghetti so after 20 seconds of that they were done with that and it was prix fixe for the Americans. So it was I ended up paying about $400 after taxes wine and tip for some appetizers and a small piece of steak and two glasses of wine. I think if we had just pushed back and asked for a few minutes to decipher the menu, we could have ordered alla carte and had a better experience. Anyway, I would view this as more of a cautionary tale for wayward Americans than a knock on this establishment.

    The food is very good no matter what you chose. I ordered the special of the day Portuguese chicken, it is the best that I ever tested. Service is fantastic and very nice atmosphere! Love it !
