   This was the only time my food wasn't good. The bacon on the Millionaires Bacon burger was burnt and hard and flavorless

   I have struggled over the years with the changes. But they did a great job today. Portions were so much better.

   Service is horrible at 1 point in time. The server. It was waited on the principal next to us, and his butt was literally on our table. I also complained that my time soup and aujou was cold. It clearly just got thrown in the microwave. Also, instead of taking my whole plate away with soup and sandwich, we reached onto my plate to grab the auju.

   It’s easy to see why Granite City is on its last leg. They should have kept it local. The brunch I had was lackluster at best. Chicken fried steak was frozen out of a box. Danishes were still frozen in the middle, and there were fruit flies around the fruit, on the buffet table. Granite it’s is cutting corners and doing so very cheaply. It had been years since I last ate here, and now I remember why. I will not be returning. If there is one take away for the team, it is this: get back to basics. Make EVERYTHING from scratch. Please.

    Food was very good. Beer as always, was delicious. Lots of youg kids there. All very well behaved.
