We absolutely  enjoyed the four-course brunch at this wonderful restaurant, and I have to say, it truly exceeded all expectations. Our server Freddy, was absolutely outstanding. He was attentive, charming, professional, and incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Freddy recommended the Carolina Gumbo, which was full of flavor, and the Shrimp and Grits, which was nothing short of spectacular. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the grits were creamy with just the right amount of kick. Thanks Freddy for making this brunch experience unforgettable 👏

I used to eat at GB’s all the time pre-Covid. Celebrated many holiday meals there. Figured I’d try this year …. The main problem was that there were too many diners, such that we were 20 min late getting seated and the limited wait and kitchen staff were over-burdened and could not keep up. Tables weren’t turning because diners were waiting for courses. The kitchen and wait staff should be commended. The poor hostess at the front deserves hazard pay for all she was dealing with. She was amazing — keeping her cool in the midst of chaos. I know the restaurant business is about making money — but you sacrificed the dining experience for an extra buck. Moreover, because of all the rushing (and I know you have to appeal to a cross section of guests) the food was extraordinarily bland. Christmas dinner will definitely be elsewhere.

Went for thanksgiving dinner and wasn’t so thrilled. Long wait to be seated, long wait to receive cold food and then receive a smaller portion of food after returning the cold food. Not worth the price. Staff was also unprofessional and careless

Food was extremely average. Au gratin potatoes were undercooked. Service was good for a busy Thanksgiving crowd. Would not do Thanksgiving there again.

My Thanksgiving dinner was fair. The turkey was tough /dry very disappointed for being my first time was not satisfied with my meal I was shocked is George Brown no flavor overcooked dry the portion of the food was like for a two year old mashed potatoes. I couldn’t find under the meat not worth the money for my Thanksgiving dinner. My plate was dirty overrated.

The Thanksgiving day dinner experience was perfect. The wait staff were attentive and wonderful. The food was delicious. The coffee martini was exceptionally good . My family came from all over to the DC area and we are very glad we had a very nice dinner experience for Thanksgiving. Thank you to George Brown ‘s.
