Gale's Restaurant is a totally local Pasadena spot for delicious Northern Italian fare, tucked away from the tourist chains in Old Town. Couples, families and friends that seem to have just finished a day outdoors snuggle among the brick walls and small marble tables, drinking cocktails and wine from elegant Brighton goblets. Start off with Bruschetta, Burrata Salad or Gale's Simple Salad and then move on to the country-style Tuscan steak or one of the house made ravioli specials. For dessert, don't miss the Tiramisu or Gale's iconic Coconut Cake. The wine list is a favorite among the guests for it's variety and excellent value.

This was my first time at Gale’s and it was beyond expectations. Service was superb. The food was excellent and presentation was perfect. The daily selections (specials) was an amazing list, especially in conjunction with the main menu. We will definitely book again in the future.

A wonderful place to have lunch! The salad options are fantastic, and the minestrone soup was perfect. All of our servers were so helpful and attentive. Thank you so much for providing a great place to have lunch in Pasadena!

Great place for Valentines Day dinner. Great food and menu for the day, service and ambiance was great. Definitely surprised how good this place was and I will come back again!

The service and food was great, we had the meatball appetizer and it was quite delectable. My girl got the Scampi Linguini and its a very light dish but you will get full eating the bread so take it slow. I ordered a rigatoni dish with Italian sausage, full of flavor to say the least!! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for Italian

Gale’s is one of our go-to fabulous dining experiences for my wife and me when we’re in Pasadena. Recently, Gabriel was our server - appropriately qttentive. Starters included the arancini and the Frito Misto, followed by the salmon sauté and the branzino. Delicioso!

I’ve been to Gale’s many times and have always had excellent experiences. The food is exceptional and service has been very good. This time, however, they put us in outside seating. There appeared to be only 1 waiter handling about 15 tables, so the service was almost non existent. It took 45 minutes before we were able to order. They totally forgot one of the appetizers we ordered, and the first dish didn’t come out until 45 minutes after we ordered. It was also difficult to get our check, so altogether we were there for almost 3 hours. I had taken two business clients, so I was apologizing to them the entire time.
