Chef Sean A. Wight’s vision of an affordable yet stylish dining and social club is born in Frog Hollow Tavern. Located on the 1200 block of Broad Street, the space is a modern “Restaurant meets Bar” where a diverse crowd of people enjoy the company of others paired with a comfortable atmosphere, detailed service, and exquisite affordable cuisine.
Expect a dinner menu that features a substantial amount of local and regionally grown seasonal quality ingredients, and menu that offers unique libations, which encourages an active and lively upscale bar scene.

While traveling in the Augusta area found Frog Hollow Tavern online and was intrigued by the menu. The server Driftin was fantastic, who provided fantastic service! Driftin provided an overview of the off-menu items and I selected the 14 oz pork chop, which was an absolute homerun! The pork chop is grilled then baked to a medium finish and placed on a bed of sweet potatoes and pears (hungry yet?!?!). This is certainly a place I plan to visit while next in the Augusta area.

The cowgirl ribeye was delicious. Very tender. The waiter was very nice and knowledgeable about the food. We will return.

Our server Brian was fantastic! All four of us commented on what an excellent job he did and his recommendations on food and drink were spot on. Shout out to the bar tender and chefs! We will certainly be back.

Overall, it was pretty good. We had asked to be seated in a quieter area if possible and we definitely were not despite our reservation being soon after they opened. They however made a personalized note for our anniversary which was a nice touch. I would however have preferred the quieter side room and not be seated next to a party of 12. The pork shoulder and mac and cheese were tasty and cooked well. The bouillabaisse was good but not great and the potatoes were under cooked. The waiter was nice but had some difficulty speaking, which was hard to hear in the noise. The Oysters Rockefeller were like any other restaurants. The setting is pretty. I did expect more for a fine dining restaurant but don't regret going. I just don't think we'll make an effort to go again.
