We are a bustling neighborhood restaurant in the heart of north loop. We are one of Austins oldest farm to table concepts. Our menu is foreign in style, while domestically sourced. Our menus change with the season, farm availability, & on chefs whim. Join us for our nose to tail tasting menu nightly if you appreciate whole animal usage. Our wine program is aimed toward biodynamic natural small production wines. If you'd like to have pre or post dinner cocktails, our awesome neighbors include the tigress bar & drink.well.
Please note that we have a 15 minute grace period on reservation arrival times. Should you find yourself running late, please give us a call or the table may be released to a waiting guest.
Tables of 1-2 guests will be reserved for 1.5 hours, tables of 3-4 will be reserved for 1 hour and 45 minutes, tables of 6+ will be reserved for 2 hours. These times reflect standard dining times of our guests. Should you feel that you need additional time, please notate this.

    I came to Foreign and Domestic for Sunday Brunch with my family one weekend and it was so good, I came back the next weekend with a friend. Both times I had the cardamom cinnamon roll because it’s the best I’ve ever had. They toast it before they put the frosting on it, so the cinnamon and sugar gets a little crunchy. It’s incredible. The mimosas are also good deal. I’d love to come back for dinner!

    My favorite Austin restaurant! Had the brunch which was excellent. Jeremiah the server is my favorite. He always takes great care of me! If you are in Austin you should check this place out!

    This restaurant is consistently outstanding in both food and service. The owners are approachable, knowledgeable and kind. The wait staff - especially Jeremiah- are thoughtful, knowledgeable, and attentive. My friends & I go almost every month as we are able to enjoy this Austin jewel.

    Foreign & domestic is consistently excellent. Food is constantly changing but some favorites always remain on the menu. Everyone enjoyed their meal and its portion size. The wine selection was good also, if a little pricey!! The house specialty of gruyere and pepper popovers was a little disappointing as they were over done, but the cheese and butter were not melted on top at all. They seemed dry and way too tough. We sat outside and it was a lovely evening just a tad windy. Will we be back again? For sure.
