Based on my experience and the reviews for the Salt Lake City location, I picked Fleming's for a business dinner. The location is excellent. The experience of coming in and being seated in the ambiance is fantastic and sets you up for what could be a great evening. The service and attention as we sat down were excellent, and the experience of placing the order was everything you would expect. I ordered the French onion soup, and the other people ordered a salad. After a long waiting period, our steaks showed up. We asked them whether we ordered soup and a salad, and they said oh yes, we’re sorry. Let us check on those. They came back with my soup and wanted to know if I wanted it now, and I explained to them that once you interrupt the normal process and flow, it does screw up the rest of the meal. I can’t have my steaks sit there and get cold while eating soup or vice versa. This was met with relative indifference. Therefore, we went without soup or salad and moved on to the steak, which should have been the star performer. My steak, which I ordered medium rare, was medium well at best and cold. If it had not been a business dinner and I had been alone or with my family, I would’ve sent it back and started over in this business setting. I had just to let it go. The manager came over and apologized for the mixup and said they would be taking those items off the bill. If you didn’t serve them, of course you would. Not much of an offer. Then the bill came. They had taken $50 off of the charges. However, the suggested tipping included the gross total, including tax. I am a big believer in tipping for the full amount when you have crazy coupons that are not the servers' fault. However, when you fail and then want me to pay the tip on the total gross amount, including tax, that’s not going to happen. Would I give Fleming a second shot? Yes, but this night out was a fail.

We were here to celebrate our 25th anniversary and the filet mignon did not disappoint, just like the lobster bisque , Flemings is definitely one of my favorite steak houses, I just wiish they had their cranberry sauce year round , They do need a coat area like the one in Colorado to check in your coats and this one is smaller than the Colorado but I would continue to dine here !!! Thank you for the card and chocolates for our anniversary.

Heidi was absolutely fabulous! From the moment we sat down, she took extremely good care of us. She thanked me for being a returning customer. The entire evening was perfectly done from the cocktails; appetizers; entrees; side dishes & dessert! Everyone loved it! Thank you

Wonderful bone-in filet mignon and sea bass .... we ended the meal with the excellent molten lava cake and then headed to the Jazz game. Attentive and wonderful service.

The hostess, servers were great. Our filets were dry, a little overcooked and , not very flavorful. The wedge salad was just ok. The mashed potatoes were fine but nothing great. The bread and spread was good.

Staff was great and our waitress continually checked in on us. The cooks were slow so that’s why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Normally they’re a 5.
