   We have eaten at 5 Crowns many times. 2 days ago we went with our family of 11 for an after Xmas get together. Our reservation was 7:30 and we weren't seated until 7:50 because the previous diners didn't vacate the table in a timely manner. Not the restaurant's fault. However, my meal (prime rib end cut) and my husbands meal (also prime rib) were NOT good. The Caesar salad was heavily over dressed. My prime rib was almost inedible. It was very fat throughout with very little meat and quite tough. My husbands English cut was undercooked and very unappetizing. Both pieces of meat were flavorless. The food was cold but served on a hot plate. This was not the caliber of food we have enjoyed in the past at 5 Crowns. I briefly mentioned this to the manager privately because I didn't want to upset my family. I can't comment on the familys' meals. I phoned the restaurant yesterday and left a message for the manager but recd no return call. Our total bill for our table, before tip, was $1100. One bright spot was our server, Tyler. He was EXCELLENT. I wish the manager would have followed up. I would have appreciated an offer of a gift card or even a complimentary dessert. Disappointed all around ...

   Great night overall. Still had carolers and Christmas decorations up, so very nice holiday feel. Food was good, but miss the carts form Lawry’s. Service was pleasant and had a nice time overall.

   We loved everything about Five Crowns, the food, the Christmas decorations, the carolers, all of it!! Our waiter Greg and his expediter Martin were excellent. We had such a fun night we are considering having Christmas dinner here next year!!

   I brought my family of 10 for my husband’s 49th birthday. This used to be my husband’s favorite restaurant. The service was so poor I am sorry to say we will not be returning. Honestly, I wouldn’t even post this if I just had a couple of mishaps throughout the evening but the entire experience was so bad I have to say something. It took nearly an hour after we ordered our starters to bring them. The oysters were less than par. Our meals came out almost 2 hours later and the only time we saw our server was when he took our order. No one came to check on us. It was miserable.

    Patty was our server and she was so upbeat and attentive….,and the gentleman that was helping her also was awesome! The prime rib was excellent and my son also had the lobster which was cooked to perfection which sometimes in restaurants can be over cooked. The Christmas Carolers were a very special addition to a very festive family dinner. Thank you.
