In 1940, Adele and Ellis Ferris determined to share their hospitality with more than their family and friends. they wanted to reach out to serve the Cleveland community that had welcomed them with open arms. Adele and Ellis wanted to create a legacy for their children, grandchildren, and generations that would follow that would bring them pride all their days.
Starting out in Cleveland on Detroit Rd. Ferris Steak House became a favorite dining place for people from all across the city and outlying suburbs.
The Award-Winning Ferris Steak House continues to serve the highest quality steaks and chops available in Cleveland, with genuine warmth and friendly, prompt service. Jumbo fried shrimp were larger and tastier than I have had in years. Combined with a perfectly cooked rare filet. Partner's filet was great as well. Good food, good service, good value. Can't go wrong at Ferris.

                                                                                            Unfortunately not a good experience aside from our server that was great. We were seated at a small two top table wedged in the middle of two larger tables so we were literally right on top of the couple next to us despite that there were many other tables open at the time. We both ordered medium Delmonico steaks, however mine came out well done. Overall, the price was not worth the experience and honestly just disappointed.

Half the menu wasn’t available and was told there was no “Valentine’s Day specials” but the sign when you walked in talked about a valentines surf and turf. Probably will not return
