Love the food and service, but i do wish the staff wasn’t as attentive because it felt like we were being pushed out. Logically, I understand; however, it’s difficult to have a meaningful conversation when there is someone asking to grab the leftovers every 5 mins or so…

First time at Aracosia—the decor and ambiance was very warm and welcoming. Staff was great, and food was delicious. Great lunch on a cold, snowy day.

This is a real neighborhood gem. The service is good, the food is great--every pasta dish is great--and the it's never too crowded but has enough diners to keep it interesting.

We are are fortunate to have Matera in our neighborhood, It is a small restaurant in the River Inn, close to the Kennedy Center and the Foggy Bottom-GWU, Metro, with excellent food at reasonable prices and excellent service. The menu leans to Italian cuisine but there are choices for those who prefer "American" food; the NY strip steak is outstanding and the tiramisu is the best we have ever eaten. The wine pours are generous. In our experience, the cooking, service and the wine selection has been pleasingly consistent.
