COOKING WITH FIRE, SOUTH TEXAS STYLE Carriqui celebrates the South Texas tradition of drawing flavor from fire. Inspired by the flight path of our namesake bird, our menus feature regional favorites from the Rio Grande Valley, Texas coast, and the Hill Country. Nearly every dish is touched by the glowing embers of our custom-forged pits, smoker, or grill, all fueled by native wood. Today Best Quality Daughter is located in the historic Mueller House at the Pearl Brewery. Curated by chef Jennifer Hwa Dobbertin, Best Quality Daughter's menu takes inspiration from her travels and the comfort food of her youth as a second-generation Chinese-American.

My friend and I didn’t want to cook this year and we both didn’t have our kids this year so we wanted to go out for Thanksgiving dinner. Gallery on the Park did an excellent job! Everything was over the top from the customer service to the beautifully Christmas decorated hotel and restaurant. The was delicious too!! We both opted for the braised short rib. Dashi Sichuan Kitchen is such a great departure from so many nondescript Asian restaurants in town. The food is delicious with both unique and standard options to choose between. The decor and ambiance are inviting and,, well, the bar is definitely a treat. Plan a visit - you will be glad you did.
