He went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, from recommending dishes to accommodating our preferences seamlessly. The food itself was nothing short of spectacular. Seasonal changes to the menu make this restaurant fun to visit often. We had aubergine with a mustard sauce: enjied by the whole table. Likewise the chole batura: not greasy nor acrid as often can be the case. Uppatam was well received too. The date pancake was enjoyed as was the riff on ras malai. The latter deconstructed and remade as a cake like sponge imbued with ras malai sauce, topped with a crunchy crumble. A novel twist that was a pleasure. Service was excellent, as usual.

Only comment I would make is that the space is very tight, especially the tables for 2 They would benefit from having a coat stand, especially for this time of year. Food was delicious, authentic & not greasy, which as someone who has had the privilege of growing up with homecooked Indian food, was really great.

Very attentive service and with a nice touch - I had mentioned it was a pre theatre birthday treat dinner so the staff surprised us with a card from them which was very sweet and thoughtful.
