Brian Dunsmoor’s namesake restaurant, Dunsmoor, is the latest iteration of his ongoing exploration of American heritage cooking. It is, first and foremost, a restaurant for the community that surrounds it, and a loving expression of the relentless research that has informed his cooking for the last ten years. We offer the full menu at tables in our dining room and at the chef's counter, as well as at our outdoor tables. Reservations are recommended but we make every effort to accommodate walk-ins when possible. Dunsmoor's wine bar, accessible either through the restaurant or via its own door on Ave 35, does not accept reservations and serves a limited menu of our raw and larder items.

Heralded as a "meat speakeasy" by Food & Wine Magazine, chi SPACCA has come to represent the quintessential new Italian dining experience, where accompaniments like the Foccacia di Recco, warm salted Medjool dates, and Culatello & Puglia burrata are just sideshows for the rest of Chef Armen Ayvazyan's wood-fired menu which features a 42-ounce Tomahawk pork chop, a 36-ounce dry-aged bone-in New York Costata alla Fiorentina, and a 50-ounce dry-aged porterhouse Bistecca Fiorentina.Enchanted by the artistry of Italian salumi culture, we built the first “dry cure” program in Los Angeles so that we could experiment and perfect Italian charcuterie techniques in house.

Dinner before the theater for 2 of us Saturday night. Made reservations earlier that day. We were very pleased with everything. We did the dinner & show parking package. We were given a perfect table. The restaurant was not busy at first but was filled quickly. Our servers were wonderful with suggestions & service was excellent. The food was outstanding. Highly recommend the spicy eggplant starter, Jamie kale salad, vodka sauce was delicious (special sample pasta) & pork osso buca. Tiramusu was delicious 😋. We will return for sure. We waited until our show time at the Aster Hotel rooftop Lemon Grove lounge. Super cool.

Excellent but too expensive. There are other great steaks available in town for half as much per person. Bread shouldn’t be $18 for 1/4 loaf of sourdough.

We came for pre-theatre dining (Pantages). They accommodated a day-before expansion of our party from 7 to 9 people and were quite gracious. They setup patio heaters for us and we were ready to go. The service was efficient but not rushed, we took advantage of their free parking and walked to and from the theatre. The food was solid - and the drinks were tasty. There were several other large parties but we would have never known. Food and drink came out in great time and they even brought a slice of delicious lemon cake with a candle so we could wish my daughter in law a happy birthday. This will be our go-to spot for pre-Pantages meals!
