Best Restaurants with a Wood Oven in California Hotel & Casino

Our server was terrific. It was our first time there and she made great recommendations. We had the Detroit Motorhead pizza. It was one of the best pizzas we have ever had. 8 pieces was perfect for 3 people. The thick crust was actually very light. Also had the apple and gorgonzola salad. Split it between the two of us. It was outstanding. I highly recommend Pizza Rock to anyone in the Fremont area and it would also be worth the trip from the strip.

The food was good and we ate it all. My wife tried to order the Caesar salad starter and the salmon for dinner, but the server brought a Caesar with salmon. My wife is not one to complain, so she just ate it and said she liked it. I had the pounded veal chop and it was very good. The sorbet for dessert was very good.

This was perhaps the best pizza I’ve had in my life and I’ve travelled the world. I have NO idea how they get the dough so pillowy but it was extraordinary! Best place to escape the strip. Will be back.

Outstanding in every way. Sat at table overlooking the Fountains at the Bellagio - can’t beat that. Expertly made cocktails and food. The dark chocolate soufflé capped our anniversary dinner. Wonderful.

First time eating at Wallys and was pleasantly surprised at the food quality - at least for us. Ordered their Spicy Salami Pizza and Whole Heritage Chicken Dinner and would do so again and again. Their Spicy Salami Pizza is LEGIT. The chicken was also fantastic and the portion size of the Chicken Dinner is enough for 4 people. Cocktails were hit and miss. Traditionals were on point but their creative craftings were just so so Wine inventory is insane and some of the pricing also but felt the food pricing for the quality and quantity was terrific. Probably the best overall experience we had on our holiday trip (Nobu and Peter Lugers included). Service also top notch. Will definitely be back!
