Best Open Kitchen Restaurants in West Austin / Westlake

I want to start this review by saying our server Ziray was phenomenal. It was my wife and I's first time here and she broke down the menu and explained everything with great knowledge and with so much enthusiasm. You can tell she likes what she does and she is great at it. Now onto the food. Excellent. That's all I can say. Our drinks were on point. The appetizer,the queso fundido was soooo good. Didn't want to stop eating it but needed room for our steak fajitas for two. Came out a perfect medium. The tortillas were fresh and pretty perfect. For our dessert, we got the margarita lime pie. It's one of the lightest pies I have ever eaten. So overall a great experience. The manager checked in and made sure all was well. The servers seemed to work as a team. I will be back very soon. More things to try. Thanks again for a great experience.

It was our first visit to Perla’s and we will definitely be going back! Our drinks were wonderful and our food was spectacular! The vibe is so fun!

Love it… except for the noise. I know completely fixing the loud problem might be tough. But that’s no reason to not try to knock it down at least some. Just adding some baffles to the ceiling would be a welcome start.

Absolutely amazing! We had the crispy green beans, 3 meat platter, the half chicken, mac and cheese, beans, and lemon pie. The half chicken is one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The sides were so delicious and the bbq was tender and flavorful. We had a wonderful waitress and really enjoyed the cool, moody atmosphere.

We went to Verbena for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had let them know that we would be bringing our own bottle of champagne and the table was set accordingly. The appetizers were delicious including a very inventive take on ceviche. We both ordered the chile relleno which was a tad too spicy for my taste but perfect for my wife. The tres leches cake was wonderful as was the service.
