Best Open Kitchen Restaurants in Council Bluffs

We've been to Dynamite multiple times and always find the staff helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. The food is delicious and varied - vegetarian options as well as fish for those not eating steak. The sides are plentiful and well-thought out. The Sommelier on staff loves what he does and it shows. Try it for a date night, a quick bite before a Holland performance, a family or staff outing - anything, just try it.

The food had great flavor. You would think being a steakhouse they would be able to cook steaks to the correct temperature. The prime rib was tough and was extremely under done. Ordered medium and got it rare. Other than that everything else was amazing. Our server was awesome. It was nice and quiet and had a very cozy feeling to it.

Food is thoughtfully prepared and presented using high quality ingredients. Everyone in our group of four enjoyed their entrees, commenting that the venison and scallop dishes were remarkable. Dessert of vanilla custard tart and housemade cranberry ice cream was a lovely close to the meal. Cocktails were good but not great, if there was any low point to the meal. Overall, a great experience, but I question the value for the price. Can an equal or better experience be had for less? Yes.
