Best Live Music Restaurants in Solana Beach

Beautiful inside!! Service was attentive and friendly from the hostess to the server to the bus staff. Some of the more popular dishes were sold out. We ordered: Drinks: 1 N 4$17.00 3 N 3$51.00 1 N 2$17.00 1 Titos$15.00 Rocks$2.00 3 Titos$45.00 Dirty$3.00 Martini 1 Titos$15.00 Food: 2 Tuna Sashimi$44.00 2 Mei Goreng$34.00 1 Wagyu Skewer$18.00 Service Charge (4.00%)$10.44 Plus the lobster buns which they forgot about so they were nice enough to comp it and eventually serve. We loved the food but the portions are very small. And I'm wondering if we got charged for an extra drink we didn't order/receive now that I'm looking at the receipt... Also, it's a little annoying they charged $2 more for ice with the vodka drink and an extra $3 to make it a dirty martini. The music was great and upbeat. The dance floor was open around 10pm (Friday night). Crowd: around 9:30-ish, the crowd got much younger. A flood of early 20 year olds took over the place but they seemed well mannered and dressed nice. If they want the repeat dinner crowd, they should rethink portion sizes because the 20 year olds won't be spending that kind of money for small portions and the other patrons that are able and willing to spend can eat better elsewhere for the same price. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and super glad we tried it.

This restaurant is located in a perfect spot in Cardiff. The decor is lovely and truly speaks to a beach atmosphere. We had a gift card to use so we were able to try a lot of different dishes. They were all very tasty and the drinks are one of a kind. It is a pricey place, but every nice restaurant these days is pricey. My only complaint is the salad (arugula) that came with my fish was so heavily coated in salt that I couldn't eat it. It didn't seem right that it would even have salt on it so I don't know if it was in the dressing or a mistake. At any rate, the main dishes were very good. Our drinks did sit empty for half the meal so the waitress could have come by more often to ask if we wanted anything else. But overall, the ambience, overall decor, and vibe was lovely.

RLV is a win win from the minute you enter the gate. A warm greeting from the guard "thanking you for coming to RLV"...so nice. Menu wonderful, service outstanding and the food "damn good"!

Our yearly tradition did not disappoint! Next year, though I think I’m going to request to be in the main dining room. The music in the bar was too loud and a little hard for my mom who can’t hear well! 

It can get busy, best way to make sure you get a table is to make a reservation. Ordered a few things to try, Lomo Saltado, Macho, Beet Salad and a Ceviche Mixto. The ceviche was great probably a tad bit more salt and it would've been perfect Beet salad... Beets.. The Lomo was a tad salty for me but the meat was very tender and a good size portion of food. Macho was my favorite a good variety of seafood and lots of flavor.
