Best Live Music Restaurants in Rice Village

Great place! The food was top notch; we had the onion soup w/gruyere croutons, the squid's ink bomba rice with seafood, and the salmon. The food was everything a one-star place should be - beautiful, well seasoned, creative, and well presented. Service was truly exceptional- very professional but also warm and personal. We will definitely return.

Had dinner here with my wife and friends. This is an outstanding restaurant. The service was exceptional, the food was very well prepared and the drink/spirits options were plentiful. The ambiance could be a bit more ‘intimate,’ but the noise levels were acceptable and distance between seating areas was reasonable. I felt the pricing was just very slightly high, but, overall a very good experience which I would recommend.

I went here for galentines & it was absolutely MARVELOUS! You have to valet or park on the street, but street parking was surprisingly easy to find. The door was always opened for us & the guy helped my friends get group pics, which was super kind. The ambient lighting, the live music that transitioned into a DJ later on that night, the amazing bartender (ask for Kelyn, she’s awesome), our super sweet bartender (Zickee? I know I’m mispelling his name, but he was so attentive & kind), & the FOOD. The burger genuinely was the best burger I’ve ever eaten (if you don’t like too much butter, maybe avoid this), the deviled eggs had CAVIAR on it & tasted so good… I wanted to fight my two other friends for the last egg hehe. The lambchop was great, but if you’re HUNGRY, it’s only that on top of a polenta (kind of a cheesy, hashbrown but I think it’s cornmeal not potatoes), so I’d advise getting a side or two with that. The pasta looked amazing, & it genuinely wasn’t as expensive as it may feel. We split everything evenly & with a large tip it was still a decent price! And they gave us chocolate covered strawberries topped with real gold flakes at the end. Perfect restaurant, my absolute favourite in Houston now. Still dreaming of the burger!

FRNDS is a vibe for any time. Girls night out, date night, or just dinner for the family. You will never go wrong with choosing FRNDS. From the concierge when you walk up to the wait staff and the managers who walk around to every table making sure your night is nothing less than amazing. Let’s not forget the best part, the food, omg the flavors the presentation the way it makes your tummy and heart smile you will never regret coming to FRNDS.
