A step back into a more gracioius time and tried-and-true delights, Chez Josephine soothes the soul. With delighitful piano music in the background, we feasted on magnificent onion soup, perfectly prepared sea bass, and a huge, perfectly prepared T-bone with truffled mashed potatotes, all accompanied by a lovely Chateauneuf du Pape and topped off with profiteroles and mousse. Chez Josephine welcomes its guests to step off of 42nd Street and into French perfection. The service is warm and gracious, the ambience invites leisurely dining of another era, and one wanders off into the night with every sense fully satisfied. Vive la France!

We stopped by the bar on the first floor. The bartender, Jimmy, was awesome. Great drinks and prompt service. When we went to our table the service was spot on and the food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The food prices are very reasonable especially compared to NY steakhouse prices.

Myself and my family had a great time, the appetizers were incredible. The food was an 8 out of 10 overall. Service is amazing, the Entertainment was fabulous and the ambience of the restaurant was incredible. A really wonderful experience. Do not miss the burlesque. Really a treat!!

The food was so delicious and well-prepared. The service was impeccable; the entire staff was attentive, friendly, efficient, respectful and very kind. It was our anniversary and while we had indicated that on our Open Table reservation, we had not mentioned it when we were there. When they brought our dessert the words ‘Happy Anniversary’ were piped in chocolate on the plate along with a lit candle on the plate for us. Many other places we have gone to have via Open Table overlooked those details. Can’t wait to go again!

Food is always good, as is the service. The live music only adds to the experience.
